The choice project i made is a bowl that is about 4 inches tall and 5 inches wide. I carved designs in all over the outside of the bowl with squiggly lines, spirals, zig zags, and all sorts of random designs. I glazed the entire project blue and then wiped it off the outside, so the only part of the bowl that is blue is the carved out spaces, and the inside of the bowl. The glaze inside the bowl and in the designs makes the designs seem to pop out of the bowl which makes for an intriquite detailed bowl.

For my set of three i created three bowls. They all have the same shape with the base smalleer than the edge. They are also all glazed a solid dark blue. However, they are all different because i made one a small size, about 2x3, one medium, about 3x4, and one large, about 4x5. All the components of the bowls make them alike but the size makes them different from each other.

My wheel altered project is wider than it is tall and the top edge i molded into a wavy form. The surface is smooth throughout the whole thing. The glaze is a tomato red and i dipped the top edge in white which dripped part way down the sides. The overall project is bright and easy to see the dips and curves in the edge  and the light glaze makes it appear bigger than it really is.

The wide project that i made is wider that it is tall and is basically a bowl. The glaze is a dark green that is almost black at the bottom of the bowl. There is no details or textures carved into the bowl, just a smooth project. The darker glaze at the bottom and shape of the bowl creates a bowl that looks deeper than it is.

The tall project that i made is taller than it is wide and the sides are even all the way around. The entire project is smooth and even throughout the entire thing. The glaze is a dark brown/green with suttle yet noticeable splecks of darker glaze all over it. The simplicity of the design and the dark glaze come together to make a tall project that is given dimension yet still simple.
